Nissan Company had worked for a long time on a new compact SUV, aimed to replace Terrano
II. And in 2001, finally, the X-Trail model was introduced. The customers liked the car, and
Nissan, unlike the “Koreans”, didn’t have to prove to the whole world that it makes reliable cars.

Saloon

The saloon of the first generation of used Nissan X-Trail doesn’t impress, especially if we talk
about pre-restyling cars, produced before the autumn of 2003, where the interior looks really
too modest. There are no complaints about the quality of interior assembly and the reliability of
electronics. Except the block of window lifts which fails sometimes.

Though the lovers of outdoor activities saw the true value of used Nissan X-Trail of the first
generation. The car is really very well designed for transportation of sports equipment. For
example, the trunk’s floor is made of hard plastic with a special coating which is not afraid
of rough and dirty luggage. And you can not only throw back the armrest of the backseat, but
remove it at all for transporting long stuff. In this case, the window in the backseat becomes
larger allowing you to drive in four, and transport the skies and snowboards for the whole
company at the same time.
